Over the past few years, sentimentality was the prevailing theme in my life. During lockdown, we didn’t really know if we’d be getting back to the things we’d normally do, to the people we’d normally see. I strongly felt the urge to write about the many things that make up a memory and somehow memorialize it through music.

The artworks to my songs all face to the left as a reflective gaze into the past. I also sprinkled themes of looking back, reminiscing, remembering, and never forgetting, all throughout my songs as an ode to the times I so fondly remember.

And so here I am now looking back, for one last time, to a past I thought I could never move on from. Here I am now, cherishing these memories as I let them go. Memories that are filled with friends, that taste like amaretto, that linger like a curse, that don’t move on, that strike like thunder, and that are never forgotten.
