Chaise’s songwriting grew out of her love of writing poems. It wasn’t until she was a junior in high school that she paired her lyrical prowess with her newly-found musical ability. Following this discovery, Chaise found herself pouring the internal out, writing songs as if each was a page in a diary. Honest, candid lyricism coupled with catchy guitar riffs likens Chaise to Taylor Swift - but edgy, with an Indie flair and raw emotion.
She released her debut EP in 2013, a body of work that featured songs written during her time in High School. Her new songs come from a different place and reveal a new side to this artist.
After a year without new music, we see Chaise revived, with punk weaving into her output. Her latest release, ‘More Of You’, delves into break ups and painful realizations, the track explores “having feelings for someone despite knowing a relationship would never work out with them.”
