Chamber Winds of South Dakota performances happen in the heart of South Dakota, but their
performers come from all over the midwest.
In the tradition of Mozart, Strauss, and Taffanel, the Chamber Winds of South Dakota bridges the gap between chamber music and a modern wind ensemble. In that vein, they prioritize a mix of traditional works, and also works by living and underrepresented composers.
The group is led by Founder and Artistic Director, Elizabeth Robinson, who also plays flute in the ensemble. The group is conducted by Don Linn, who is also serves as an Artistic Director.
