Richard Ellis Lee (born February 7th, 1991 in Lakeland, Florida), better known by his nickname Champ Game, is a hip/hop and rap artist. His passion for music began at the young age of twelve when he would create beats on his little sisters' toy keyboard and record rap lyrics over his their “Just For Me” cassette tapes. He was constantly rapping and beatboxing around the house. He was strongly influenced by his favorite rap artists; Young Dro, Lil Wayne, and Plies. He grew up in a family with strong parental guidance and encouraging parents, despite hard times with finances. At the age of sixteen, Champ suffered with the hardship of losing his mother. He took on the responsibility of helping his dad take care of his sisters and being a man in the household. He started playing football on little league teams at the age of seven and continued to pursue his career throughout high school.
