A truly unique DIY powerhouse of an act, Champagne Sunday has been rumbling the underground scene for twenty years, creating a devoted following from all across the country and all walks of life. With a musical style that falls somewhere between folk and rock, (they call it “Glam-Folk”), their shows have the ability to arouse all manner of emotions from sheer joy to deep introspection, but almost always with an inspirational and positive twist.
With the highly anticipated recent release of their 10th album in May 2025, Champagne Sunday is a band at the top of their game and rolling strong. From the opening fanfare of "7 Days" and the summer jam vibes of "Naked" to the whimsical wisdom of "It's Okay to Suck at Stuff", this album represents a band of 20 years really opening up their musical and emotional throttle to bring you arguably the best work of their career. Tracks like the heartache-inducing "Broken" showcase the band's emotional depth, as does the string-infused "The Elephant", while songs like the quirky, Blind Melon-esque gem "Perfect Day" and the driving angst of "The Devil Is Waiting" bring to the foreground their signature refusal to be pigeon-holed. And for fans of the inspirational one-two punch for which they are known, be sure to sink into the soulful R&B slow burn of "Don't Wait" and the ripping, ethereal guitar grooves of "Tame It".
