Melodic rap artist based in Belfast.
Chandra’s sound is heavily influenced by and a unique blend of Atlanta trap artists such as Gunna , Young Thug and Lil Baby, also the melodies of Indian music. His interest in making music started at a very young age when he would make songs using software such as GarageBand and audacity and post them on YouTube and share amongst his peers, some of these releases such as “King Kong” were well known in the local area by people his age group.
These earlier releases ( not available on streaming platforms ) were unpolished but helped shape his sound for his debut 2022 mixtape “far from finished” which was heavily inspired by Gunna and helped established Chandra as a local artist .
In 2024 and 2025 Chandra has released a steady stream of singles and eps such as “Talm bout” , “Midas” and “Beauty Of It” ; also experimenting with non rap songs such as “Man in the mirror”. These releases once again showcase a more refined, grown sound that includes more impactful lyrics and really prove his growth as an artist.
Without raising his voice, beautiful melodic performances and butter-like flows, Chandra is only just starting to show the might of his artistry.
