Chandrika grew up in a rich cultural environment of Rabindra Sangeet. She
started learning Music at the age of four from her Father Sri Shantanu
Bhattacharya. Later, she received training from late Kallol Roy, Late Subir
Bhattacharya, Sri Jayanta Sarkar and Sri Brajeswar Mukherjee, Sri Sandeep Paul,
Chandrika did first solo stage performance at the age of fourteen.
Subsequently, Chandrika became a regular performer in stage shows. She is
equally comfortable in popular Bengali and Hindi numbers, old melodies
and recent chartbusters, ghazals, and rock numbers. Chandrika has participated in The Reality Show named Zee Bangla SA RE GA MA PA 2017. She became a Finalist.
