CHARIOTS

CHARIOTS is singer-songwriter and producer Tom Read. Based in Oxford, UK, CHARIOTS is a multi-instrumentalist who creates music that spans genres including: commercial pop, electronic indie-pop, EDM, neo-soul, ambient, indie-rock, trance, singer-songwriter, instrumental and more.

With over 15 years in the music industry, Tom's music has featured on radio, TV, movies, editorial playlists and more. In the past he has worked with both major and indie labels and distributors, including Sony Music, NinjaTune, BMG, Bespoke, Integrity, Capitol CMG.

His debut EP was nominated for ‘Best Album / EP of the Year’ at the Unsigned Music Awards 2016, selected out of over 3000 entries by a panel of 80 music industry experts including presenters, producers, and editors from BBC, MTV, PRS, The Guardian, Sony Music and others.

In 2021, his song 'Dreaming As We Go' was placed in a major motion picture with Columbia Pictures, as well as landing two more songs on an album for ITV's sub label with BMG, to be used in ITV's original TV programming.
