Whether it be a YouTube sketch, television programme, or even plastered on a bus in downtown KL, it’s likely that you’ve seen Charis Ow before. She entered the Malaysian entertainment scene in 2014 & has been growing her audience ever since. Most recently the starlet has embarked on her next creative expedition - her first single and music video.

The music video follows Charis on a rollercoaster ride of emotions, creatively illustrating the universal feelings associated with feeling too shy to talk to the person you’re interested in.

Charis began her career in the industry with her YouTube channel “charisowTV.” This channel has been home to the multi talented artist’s projects like K-pop dance covers, beauty tutorial videos, as well as innovative challenges like the “Hijab Challenge” that garnered over half a million views.

Over the years, her love of travel and talent for hosting opened doors to opportunities on nationally broadcasted television. Most notably, Charis snagged the coveted role of Head Mouseketeer on Disney Channel Asia’s Club Mickey Mouse. In addition to demonstrating the vast array of Charis’ talents, this switching between scenes pays homage to the K-pop videos that the performer looked to as inspiration for this video.
