Baltimore Maryland native Charles Ellis, an R&b singer and songwriter with a captivating unique voice, is demanding the hearts of many across the globe. Originally raised in Southern California, Charles moved to Las Vegas to persue a career in singing. In 2015 Charles competed on The Voice after a talent scout caught wind of him singing a cover song on Youtube. Although Charles did not make it past the audition phase, he continued recording cover songs and original content which has created a loyal and fast growing fan base in over 30 countries. Many radio stations, bloggers and other youtubers play Charles' versions on air and often say, "I love how he takes a song and makes it his own." Charles began recording cover songs as he states, "I noticed how people gravitate to familar sounds. This was my bait. I knew if I could just have a moment of someones time to hear me, they would become a fan, and so I sing cover songs to introduce myself to you, but my original music, this is truly the treat."
