Charles Igbelokotor is a songwriter and singer artist residing in the North of Scotland. His style of music draws much of his inspiration from the Bible with country/rock gospel influences.
A former stammerer who found deliverance when he joined his church's choir at age 20. Charles has been singing in choirs and became the choir director at his church from 2010-2015. He was heavily inspired by gospel artists such as Terry Clark, Don Moen, Ron Kenoly, Matt Redman, Chris Tomlin, Steve Curtis Chapman, Fred Hammond, Marvin Sapp and John P. Kee.
Charles Igbelokotor has a Bachelor's in Production Engineering, a Master's in Finance and Investment Management, and worked in the oil and gas industry before transitioning to banking. He resigned as a manager in 2019 to start his own business in the tech sector.
He transitioned from being a chorister to an artist in 2021. His first single, 'Standing on the Rock', was released in September this year. He is blessed with his wife (Ese) and two boys (Charles and Daniel).
