Charles Johnson

Charles Johnson is the epitome of a musical journeyman, a singer/songwriter who seamlessly combines rock, country, folk and Americana while pursuing a passion for making music drawn from the absolute essence of his heart and soul. He’d be the first to admit that the quest hasn’t been easy, but his determination and perseverance now find him ready to ascend to the next plateau. Having spent eight years in Nashville while working at a variety of odd jobs —bussing tables, bartending, working as a farmhand, driving for Uber and delivering orders for a flower shop — he’s wholly committed to a cause, one that’s bound by his desire to simply share his songs.

As a result, his forthcoming debut album marks the culmination of almost five years of writing, recording and realizing self discovery. “These songs were born from chance, and a lot of them were spontaneous efforts. They were all the result of my desire to express myself as both an artist and individual. I’ve worked hard to get to this point in my life and I finally feel that my dream is within reach.”
