Charles Paul

When Charles Paul released "The Champagne Session" in August of 2019, he had already been performing professionally for 4 years. At age 15, Charles performed his first ever show at a small dive bar in downtown Hartford to celebrate the release of “SKYWARD”, his first major recording project. Over the following 3 years, as Charles navigated early adolescence, he continued to perform at bars and restaurants in the northeast, slowly but surely building a base of loyal followers. His music evolved from a Dylan-esque acoustic storytelling, to include flavors of more polished pop-musicians such as John Mayer or Ed Sheeran. By the time he turned 17, Charles was performing regularly and had several original releases under his belt, however the time had come for him to transition to college.

Charles initially had his sights set on Berklee School of Music in Boston, MA and was accepted to the school in Fall of 2019. However, a trip to Texas in early spring of 2020 introduced Charles to a very different option, the University of Dallas. In the summer of 2018, Charles enrolled at the University of Dallas as a Drama and Business double-major with the intention of continuing to pursue music outside of the classroom.
