Charlezz (Charles Poorter born October 25, '91) grew up in the center of Amsterdam and is of Dutch and Dominican descent.
Since his childhood he has been surrounded with Latin American music such as reggaeton, dembow, bachata, salsa and merengue. Since he was 16 he started to write songs himself this has become serious in recent years.
Before he focused entirely on music, he was able to express his creativity with photography.
His music style is a mix of spanish pop and reggaeton music.
Charlezz also participated in a competition on the dutch radio Funx.
And he was chosen with several artists to record a song called ‘<a href="spotify:album:7FqhEZHI7fKOlCw3wMtjWo" data-name="2 Telefoons (Remix)">2 Telefoons (Remix)</a>’.
