Charlie Be Nice

Charlie Be Nice is a rock band domiciled in Bandung City, Indonesia. The group consist of Rifardi (vocals, guitar and piano), Gilang Hade (guitar), Irfan Acem on (bass guitar) and Rico Raihan (drums). From 2018 to early 2020, the positions of guitar and drums were previously filled by Fattah Abdul and Dito Triadi who then decided to leave but continued to work in the music industry.

The creation of the name Charlie Be Nice is motivated by Rifardi's love for 50s rock n' roll music, one of which is the song from Chuck Berry entitled 'Johnny B. Goode'. The song inspired the emergence of the consonant word 'Charlie Be Nice' and the use of the name 'Charlie' in Charlie Be Nice is nothing but to make it seem more flamboyant so that it reflects the music of Charlie Be Nice itself.

Changes in the flow of music occurred in Charlie Be Nice, which previously was very thick with pop nuances and lyrics that seemed innocent. But now, fierce and sexy nuances filled with iconic guitar riffs and complex lyrics will become a new color for Charlie Be Nice's upcoming works.
