Charlie Kogen

Charlie Kogen is a singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist from Los Angeles. He began writing songs at 13 after studying piano for several years, inspired by a love of storytelling and a deep knowledge of pop music throughout various eras. Since then, his journey has taken him across genres and stages. He has placed music on television, won the prestigious National YoungArts competition in 2019, performed his original work at the Kennedy Center, and played in ensembles spanning rock, jazz, and salsa, constantly exploring new sounds and influences.

Despite his deep-rooted passion for music, Charlie took a brief academic detour, earning a degree in International Relations from Stanford—because why not? Now back in Los Angeles, he is fully immersed in writing and producing music, both for his own artist project and in collaboration with other musicians. He also composes for film, blending his storytelling instincts with cinematic soundscapes. With a knack for fusing diverse influences and a dedication to crafting meaningful music, Charlie continues to push creative boundaries in every project he takes on.
