Charlotte Roche (b. March 18, 1978 in Wimbledon, England) became known in Germany as the host of the VIVA2 shows Fast Forward and Trendspotting in the late 90's and early 2000's. Until Fast Forward was cancelled in 2004, Roche's popularity led to several TV awards and nominations, and she also recorded her first audio book (Stewart O'Nan's The Speed Queen) in 2000. She hosted an interview show called Charlotte Roche trifft ... (Charlotte Roche meets ...) in 2003 and recorded another audio book (Nick McDonell's Twelve) the same year. Roche appeared in the movie Eden in 2006, and she not only hosted a new show called Charlotte Roche unter ... (Charlotte Roche under ...) in 2008, but also released her first novel, Feuchtgebiete. Roche has recorded two songs: One as a guest singer on the track "Träume" on Superpitcher's Here Comes Love album in 2004, and a duet single with Bela B. of Die Ärzte ("1. 2. 3. ...") in 2006. ~ Christian Genzel, Rovi
