Danish singer Charlotte Skadhauge is a late bloomer. On 15th March 2024, at the age of 58, she released her debut album "Ræk ud", with 11 self-written Danish-language pop songs. With her on the album, she has a highly experienced group of musicians: Søren Bigum - guitar (Peter Sommer, Jonah Blacksmith), Anders Holm - drums (The Savage Rose), and Mikkel Riber - bass (Lis Sørensen).
In the late 1980s and onwards, Charlotte sang backing vocals for Anne Linnet's Marquis de Sade, Lars H.U.G., Lars Muhl and Gnags. Later she was educated at the music academy and worked as a singing teacher. Charlotte has been writing songs for decades, but only now does she feel ready to step into the limelight with a solo album.
