A talented singer/songwriter and producer based out of Raleigh, North Carolina, Long Island native Chase Holfelder became an online sensation in 2014 via his popular Major to Minor YouTube series, which saw him offering up minor-key renditions of well-known major-key songs. Beginning with an a cappella rendering of "The Star-Spangled Banner," Holfelder eventually moved to pop hits like "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" (Cyndi Lauper), "Every Breath You Take" (the Police), and "Best Day of My Life" (American Authors), as well as holiday favorites like "Amazing Grace" and Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas," the latter of which spawned a music video that garnered over 3.5 million views. In 2015 Holfelder issued a compilation of all of his recordings thus far called Major to Minor, Vol. 1. ~ James Christopher Monger, Rovi
