Chasing Wildflowers is the solo project of Seattle songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Delwrick Nanthou.
A first-generation Khmer American raised by refugee parents, Delwrick spent eighteen years working as a professional musician before stepping into his own voice. He started as a drummer in metal bands at sixteen, then taught himself piano, guitar, bass, and production, eventually working behind the boards for artists across genres.
His debut EP, Late Bloom, is the first record he has made entirely his own. Written, produced, mixed, and mastered by Delwrick, the four-song collection moves between intricate indie-rock arrangements and electronic production: synths, samples, beat-driven textures, and close-to-the-chest vocals carrying stories he held back for a long time.
The title is plain on purpose. After years spent serving other people's records, Late Bloom is the sound of someone finally letting his own voice into the room.
