Chauffeur et Parlak are an instrumental duo from Zurich. They play a kind of psychedelic-kraut-exotic-space-rock. The band is an absolute DIY project: composition, production, artwork and visuals - everything is made in-house. Following their debut ‘Homemade Pickles’ (2023) and ‘In Chromatic Tension’ (2024), they will release their third album in three years, ‘The Swamp’, in autumn 2025. It is cooked with the familiar ingredients: Vintage synths, accentuated guitar leads, spherical vibes, lots of reverb, percussion without end - but the new tracks are rougher, rawer, rockier. And so Chauffeur Di and Esteban Parlak return to where they met over 20 years ago: the dusty rehearsal rooms of the Swiss Midlands.
