Chedly

Born and raised in Tunisia, Chedly grew up surrounded by music, deeply influenced by his father, a talented violinist whose artistry shaped his early understanding of melody and emotion. In 2015, he began his journey into music production under the alias CheLab, exploring sound design and electronic composition. Over time, his vision evolved, leading him to embrace his true identity as Chedly, a name now synonymous with a new wave of electronic edits that fuse deep house with the rich musical heritage of the MENA region.

His breakthrough came with the deep house edit of 'Safar Habibi' (feat. Wael El Fashny), a track that sparked a trend in Egypt and set the foundation for his unique sonic imprint. 'Ye Nes Jaratli Gharayeb' (feat. Kheirouu) followed, further solidifying his place in the movement, as listeners connected with his ability to breathe new life into regional classics.

Then came 'El Warda Li Nahki Aliha' (feat. Habib Chenkaoui), a mesmerizing electronic edit that captivated audiences. Released in October 2024, it trended for two weeks on YouTube Tunisia, reached #1 on Shazam, and inspired over 23k TikTok videos, proving that Chedly’s signature style was more than just a sound, it was a cultural wave.

With his debut project 'You Exist Through Me' on the horizon, Chedly continues to push the boundaries between nostalgia and innovation, crafting music that honors the past while shaping the future of electronic sound.
