Chefry Kitchen is a Memphis native and self-taught music producer and engineer. Growing up around music, Kitchen’s introduction began at just three years old when he learned to play drums and he later started a rap group while in Highschool with his cousin. Both of his parents were in R&B groups where he would perform on stage with his father as a child and his grandfather, Mac Thompson, played bass for Sam Cooke. Chefry’s cousin is songstress Syleena Johnson and his uncle Syl Johnson is a legendary blues singer whose work has been sampled by the likes of Jay Z and Kayne. With a rich background in music such as this, it was only right that Chefry Kitchen created his own lane in the industry.
In 2006, Chefry moved from Memphis to Atlanta to further pursue his music career. He switched gears to get behind the board as a producer and taught himself how to make beats, which led to him working with Drumma Boy and Drumsquad. His hustle in the industry is easily unmatched and has placed his beats in the hands of notable artists like 2 Chainz, Don Trip, Starlito, Scotty ATL, Gucci Mane, 8 Ball & MJG, Lil Boosie, Scarface, and Faith Evans . His credits have him quickly becoming one of the most sought out hip hop music producers.
