The title of the band's first album, "4Chan-MethRock," made no sense. Except for the fact that it was clear that the guys from Vågsbygd were spending way too much time on the internet and could have benefited from more support at home. Unfortunately, they didn’t get that.
The follow-up album, "LGBT-ADHD-MDMA," at least gave the genre "Toilet Rock" some masked faces to hang on to. This was also the best album of the year, despite a title that was far from cooperative. Chemtrails Oslo is paradoxically the best at most things. Except in language use and cognitive tests. Naturally, they will score low in those.
With the brand new 2025 album titled “Stein Olav Måkestad», it can safely be assumed that despite their best efforts it's gonna be yet another nonsensical and incoherent affair. In stark contrast to its perfect content. Album of the year? Yes.
The band has chosen to bask in this aging glory and is reportedly very pleased with their own efforts.
