Chelsea Chepkosgei is an East African multilingual recording and performing artist based in Sweden but currently pursuing a musical career in Kenya. She is very diverse in style and writes across many genres with focus on Hip-Hop. Her ability to entertain in Swedish, Swahili, English and her vernacular language Kalenjin makes her unique.
Chepkosgei was born and raised in Ziwa, a small village in Uasin Gishu County, Kenya. Her music interests grew since her teenage years seeing her do freestyles in Kalenjin, something no one had done before.
She released her first single Itabidi Mkubali in September 2021 that saw her rise to fame and receive massive recognition and prominence in the music industry later working with renowned Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones on a hit song dubbed Okas iit that took her career to a new turn. Chepkosgei has also participated in different music challenges like the Odinare Challenge by Khaligraph Jones and Odibets.
Her sound has been been received with enthusiasm across East and Africa at large, she is on the route to map music in Africa to the global market.
