Cherry grew up all over the world. She was exposed to multiple genres of music at an early age and loved them all. But it was her mother's musical talents that prompted Cherry to become a musician. Her mother was a classically trained pianist that played every Sunday for church services. Cherry distinctly remembers when she was a young child expressing out loud that she “wanted to play piano just like her mom.”
Cherry began piano lessons at the age of 5, wrote her first song at 11 and composed her first piece of music at 14. She has won numerous awards and scholarships for her compositions. Performing and creating music has always been a big part of Cherry's life. She often states, “I don't know what else I would do if I wasn't doing music.”
Cherry's album, Muse, is dedicated to her 1st musical inspiration and her 1st biggest fan. All of the songs off of the album were written, produced, arranged and mixed by Cherry.
