Hailing from Northwest London, Cherryibee brings her dancehall inspired hip-hop to the world. A budding star in the UK’s vibrant hip-hop scene, Cherryibee is positioning herself for international success.
Inspired by artists like Lil Kim, Gucci Mane, and Mavado as well as the wide variety of music from her family’s weekend gatherings in Northwest London, Cherryibee has developed a style all her own. “I would describe my sound as hip hop/rock,” she says. “It’s more of a hip hop & rock sound with a twist of dancehall vibe. You might hear an element of the dancehall come out every now and again in my music.”
Her ultimate goal is to be recognized and awarded for her talent. But she also serves as an inspiration to others to always follow their dreams, no matter how big. She lives her motto of “as long as you have breath in your body and you can remain focused you can achieve anything”.
