The world first met Chevy as a 17-year-old singer with her ukulele. Born and raised in Perth, Australia, she moved to the U.S. as a teenager with her family and started writing songs to apply for music colleges—posting her first tracks to SoundCloud as part of her portfolio. To her surprise, people actually listened, and this marked the start of her music journey.
Although she began with acoustic ukulele songs, she also worked within the lo-fi music scene and later developed her voice in more genres including Pop, Jazz, and RnB.
