Jordan Daniel Chesney is a filmmaker, and music producer under the pseudonym, Chezney. Having lived half his life in the US (born in California) and the other half in the UK, the musical genres that influenced Chezney are all over the place, much like his own work. One year he'll release an electronic album and the next a jazzy, 50's-styled movie soundtrack. And there's no doubt that his passion for filmmaking has, and will continue to dramatically effect his music. Chezney often makes songs without any regard for traditional formats (verse, chorus, bridge etc.), and instead takes people to places filled with highs and lows, distinct atmosphere, and above all, surprises. He says, "I really appreciate works of art that surprise me. Genuine art, the kind that's created out of a deeper place than the thirst for fame is what separates the greats from the popular. And genuine art that goes in surprising directions - that's something really special."
