The Chicago born rapper known as Ray Ray hails from the west side of Chicago. Clearly a talented wordsmith, He cites his main influences as the hiphop artists he spent his youth listening to such as Rakim, KRS ONE, NWA, MC EIHT, LL Cool J. Intially following his fathers footsteps who is a professional singer and has had billboard success; Ray Ray began entering into contest and talent shows around Chicago.
Chicago Ray Ray started performing at Clubs in Chicago such as The Double Door, Issac Hayes Club, Rubber Room and began recording solo songs such as "Lets Party" "Misery" Chicago Ray Ray Continued Writing and Rapping.

After submitting his songs to Violator Records and Speaking with the Late Chris Lighty (Who represented Nas, Ja Rule, Mobb Deep, Uncle Murda and 50 cent) Chris advised Ray Ray to gain momentum and continue recording Chicago Ray Ray has also appeared on ABC Television Network as himself on the Reality Series "I Survived a Japanese Gameshow" Season 1 Chicago Ray Ray has continued to grow as an artist after his return from Japan and has been working with producers including his cousin Superhood2020. Chicago Ray Ray is now an Independent artist on The Across Ya Face Entertainment Label and has entered the mainstream with his Debut hit "Real Gangsta" Which has been called "A timeless classic" with the Legendary MC EIHT!
