Chimp is the story of the time that Adam King (<a href="spotify:artist:1TuDq1Geh5kIz7Gn8VSMy3" data-name="I and Others">I and Others</a>) and <a href="spotify:artist:22jClBxYxuPEj5zVvSf3Me" data-name="Daryl Waits">Daryl Waits</a> from <a href="spotify:artist:1wQQC4TjJt90mXIuh5FLhY" data-name="Moron Parade">Moron Parade</a> busted out a record in a week while Daryl was stopped in Ft. Collins, Colorado on his way from Boston, Mass. to Portland, Oregon. Fueled by an awesome head-cold and the constantly appearing apparition of the half-naked wiccan naturalist noise-rock artist who lived in the apartment above the bedroom where the recording took place, Chimp is a wild celebration of spontaneous creation. The duo wrote and recorded this album on the spot using only guitar, drums and vocals with limited takes and overdubs and then capped the recording session off with a performance of the album at Ft.
