China Steps bring together four well-versed musicians of Leeds’ bustling music scene, with shared members in the highly esteemed Eades and Van Houten. The group came together over their mutual love for nineties and early noughties American guitar bands and channelling this musical inspiration helped the four-piece beat back against the uncontrollable monotony and uncertainty of lockdown life, all while honing in on their song writing skills to create an infectious, refreshing guitar-driven sound.
