Chloe E.W. Levine

Although she's originally from Brooklyn, NY, Chloe E.W. Levine got her musical upbringing in High View, WV, swapping harmonies and tunes with folkies from around the world each summer. Her Appalachia-influenced style and affinity for intricate lyrics define her updated take on the folk-pop sound.

Levine&#39;s sophomore album, An Inch on Either Side, will be released in 2021. Like her debut, <a href="spotify:album:041aypd9fldom50ZQW0HxN" data-name="Cathexis">Cathexis</a> (2018), it relies on collaborative arrangements based on her firm belief that the best music comes out of jams in which performers rely upon their instincts and each other. Producer Max Thoburn and engineer Steven Bluestein, along with musicians Joe Carter, Bizzy Seay, and Maya Spanabel, thus played an integral role in its development.

In addition, Levine has partnered with Ian Chan and Samantha O&#39;Connell to write the original musical Cruising Altitude (2019). She also serves as the Music Director for <a href="spotify:artist:4Zjdnr698SzQDAPMx4oxy0" data-name="The Harvard-Radcliffe Veritones">The Harvard-Radcliffe Veritones</a>, whose arrangement of <a href="spotify:track:3WF99Ok6zp2kd5n9AyBAcv" data-name="Say It First">Say It First</a> (opb. Sam Smith) from their new EP <a href="spotify:album:3VthlYDAi2TUtJuANZvi5u" data-name="REVIVE">REVIVE</a> (2019) was selected for the Best of Collegiate A Cappella 2020 album.
