Choi Sai-Ho

Choi Sai-Ho graduated with a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Media at the City University of Hong Kong. He was awarded the Young Artist (Media Arts) of Hong Kong Arts Development Awards 2012, and received the Outstanding Achievement in Music for Dance at the 2015 Hong Kong Dance Awards for Hong Kong Dance Company’s "Storm Clouds". His work "Collide" was honoured in Germany’s Visual Music Award 2016. "Freezing Night．Tram Depot" was longlisted in Lumen Prize 2018. "Signals" was chosen by Sónar Calling to be part of a message sent 12.4 light-years to a potentially habitable exoplanet GJ273b. Choi collaborated with Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre, City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Arts Festival, M+, Hong Kong Institute of Architects, Chanel, agnès b., and more. Choi’s works and performances were featured at the Perform Media Festival (USA), Videobrasil Festival (Brazil), Experimentica (UK), Electron Festival (Switzerland), Worldtronics (Germany), Sónar Hong Kong, Clockenflap Music & Arts Festival (HK), and more. He now works as a multimedia artist and composer.
