Chosen can be defined as being selected to be the best. When it comes to creativity, word play and cadence Tamani “Da Great” Karim and Felton “Whym” Thomas are definitely the chosen1z. The Cali native rappers both fell in love with music in their elementary school years Tamani Da Great wrote her first song at the age 7 and whym starting to master the art of freestyle at the age of 9. Tamani Da Great being smooth and lyrical while whym spazzs out with wicked word play found themselves rapping together in 2010 with a group of neighborhood friends in Compton. In 2012 Tamani Da great and whym decided to take their career to another level. They have done shows at the Key Club, House of blues and the Grove of Anaheim along with making several club appearances. Chosen1z has headlined clubs events but have also opened for mainstream artist like Too Short, Bow wow, Finatticz and more.
