Chris Bocast

Chrys Bocast is a multi-instrumentalist performer and producer based in Colorado. She has a unique approach to electric guitar and many records, all of which are on Spotify! One of her most popular recordings is Through the Airlock, a minimalist ambient electronic guitar album; a collaboration with Romanian percussionist MJCatalin, Stratagem; a textural classical EP, Intrinsic; and perhaps her favorite, Spark the Future, done with Michael Ver Steegt, AKA Grand Transients. The first of several new singles is now out: "Aphelion" - an out-take from the Airlock sessions that's been in the vault for a long time, and I finally was able to tame it to my release standards. :)

Chrys produced & performed on an album for Lissa Hanner, It's My Mother's Fault; & appears on Matt Labarge's Larkenlyre project, including the recent album, Omnia, which fans of Through the Airlock should particularly like.

Known as a "bad-ass" live guitarist, Chrys has performed with Stomping' George Eldon all around Colorado. A new single featuring Chrys comes out in April!

In earlier days, she performed and recorded with Tokyo Vogue, based in San Francisco, and toured with acts like The Mission U.K. (Both on Spotify - see Wiki link for The Mish).

She used to spell her name with an "i", but there have been a few changes over the long haul... :)
