Chris Burness is a singer-songwriter who has a passion for music, and a drive to create events that support and showcase local musicians and emerging artists.
Chris is known for putting his own spin on well-known covers, as well as a growing catalogue of original songs. He’s spent 20 years writing instrumental fingerstyle acoustic music, original comedy songs and bespoke songs for events.
As well as performing solo, he frequently collaborates with a variety of artists
In addition to performing live music, Chris founded an up and coming live music festival Rendofest, showcasing emerging homegrown artists born from a passion for live music and supporting local talent.
He also hosts an established Open Mic night, which has built a wonderful community connecting seasoned musicians with emerging artists
