Chris Dover

Chris Dover is a singer/songwriter based in Bradford,UK.

His influences cover everything from Townes Van Zandt and Guy Clark, to current artists like Sturgill Simpson. His live show is a very intimate window into his life be it love, depression or loss, that will resonate with any fan of classic storytelling.

His first releases as a solo musician, volume 1 and 2, were released in late 2020 on Bandcamp, and have garnered much support and praise. Chris opened for stellar American songwriter Willie Tea Taylor on a string of dates as the world reopened for touring in September 2021, and toured with Arkansas’ Gravedancer in summer 2022.

“It’s a Difficult World” marked Chris’ third release since 2020, pushing his distinct voice and perspective to new levels. His first full length record, Chris explores the human condition and his own experiences in an intimate yet universal way.   
The album  is now available on all streaming platforms.

2024 sees the release of Chris’ second full length album and one that’s taken over two years to come together. Last Prairie Dance is an album highlighting an artists pursuit of creating a happier life for themselves but falling foul of the usual pitfalls of drink, drugs and crippling self doubt. Ultimately they take their own life only to realise that there is no true death and they are to just be reincarnated to start again.
