Chris Larcombe has a unique personality in his guitar playing, drawing influence from artists including Chuck Berry, Jimi Hendrix, and Henrik Freischlader.
Come 2018, Chris first heard the wailing telecaster of the late Byrd Clarence White. At this point his guitar vocabulary began walking (if not sprinting) in the direction of country-rock. Bands like the Byrds, Flying Burrito Brothers, and modern players such as Johnny Hiland have been a massive influence, and show their place in Chris’s playing as he wields his lefty B-Bender Telecaster.
Aiming to bring joy with his cosmic, electrified sound, Chris offers something subtly different to most, inflecting popular music with his origins in traditional blues, rock’n’roll and country.
