Chris Parker is a jazz drummer/music educator. Growing up in Bloomington, IN, he attended the IU Jacobs School of Music and began his professional music career performing throughout the Midwest. He has performed with Chris Potter, Dave Stryker, Charlie Ballantine, Jamey Aebersold, Tim Armacost, Frank Glover, Greg Abate, Rich Perry, Jim Snidero, Roger Pemberton, Rob Dixon, and many others. He maintains a private teaching studio, serves as Vice President of Bloomington, IN nonprofit B'Town Jazz, and is on the board of the Jazz Education Network JENerations Jazz Festival. His album, “Moving Forward Now”, is available to purchase/stream from all major online music distributors/platforms.
