What's up everyone my name is Chris Punsalan. I immediately fell in love with hip-hop after hearing 50 Cent's Get Rich or Die Tryin' at the age of 9. Growing up, my cousin Marion aka Merz was always making music, while I was extremely inspired to try, I was too intimidated to start. Junior year of High School I decided to write my first ever 16 bar verse to the "Music for Life" instrumental by Hi-Tek, I was hooked. At the time, I couldn't afford to purchase beats so I created my own. Several mixtapes later I decided to put down the pen and focus all my time on making beats. In 2014 my grandmother was bedridden and I became her full-time caretaker. This is when I started creating production focused content on every platform imaginable and slowly started building a community of likeminded producers. I describe my production style as smooth & nostalgic blending all my inspirations from hip-hop, jazz, soul and more.
