Chris Ramos (full name Christian F. Taborda Ramos) was born and raised in East New York, Brooklyn. He is of Puerto Rican and Colombian decent. Coming from a very musically inclined family, Chris has always had a strong love for the art. His childhood consisted of many different genres of music across many different eras, including Hip Hop, R&B, Reggae, Salsa, Bachata, Classic Rock, Doo-wop, Jazz, and more. He released his first single <a href="spotify:track:1UBKZKWpnl7Tl1CzqI8FSS" data-name="Composure">Composure</a> in August of 2020, and quickly followed it up with <a href="spotify:album:2e1B3N420VqIWfcjxEOqiz" data-name="This One's on You">This One's on You</a> (a response to police brutality and injustice) in September of 2020. He then dropped his third single <a href="spotify:album:0LoHV0mm67hg0tnYvsAlbJ" data-name="The Grass Ain't Greener">The Grass Ain't Greener</a> in December of 2020. With great feedback received from the first three singles, we're excited to see what he comes out with next.
Aside from being a talented Singer/Songwriter/Rapper, Chris is also a professional world champion salsa dancer, and a hip hop dancer. He has appeared as a featured dancer in the 2017 Urban World Film Festival award winning movie "Shine", directed by Anthony Nardillo, and most recently as a featured dancer in <a href="spotify:artist:4aXXDj9aZnlshx7mzj3W1N" data-name="Lin-Manuel Miranda">Lin-Manuel Miranda</a>'s Warner Bros. movie "In The Heights" starring <a href="spotify:artist:660YptcR0hNHJ8iEr1qcse" data-name="Anthony Ramos">Anthony Ramos</a> directed by Jon M. Chu.
With a plethora of talent and skills under his belt, Chris has a bright future ahead of him. Being on stage and performing, is one of his greatest passions, and we expect to see a lot more of him in the years to come.
