Chris Sunfield is an indie recording artist who combines an earnest blend of pop sensibilities with a profound love for existential exploration in his music. Once a songwriter in the shadows while pursuing a career as a psychologist and management consultant, Chris redirected his talents to the forefront following a tumultuous period that he calls a "perfect storm" of personal challenges. This crucible of adversity culminated in a physical accident, and during his recovery, Chris reignited his passion for music, a pivot that would transform his life and career. With a PhD in psychology, he now infuses his deep understanding of human nature into his songwriting, tackling themes from the joy of human connection in "Bicycle Girl" to the philosophical musings of "Begin" and "Anton."
