Chrissy Spratt is a Canadian singer-songwriter who has broken barriers as an independent artist and has achieved over 5.5 million followers across her social media platforms. Her unique ability to adapt and learn cultural and complex dialects has allowed her to gain a continued viral presence within the pop and R&B music industry. Chrissy has been diligently working in the studio on her highly anticipated debut EP, set for release in 2025, from Hi-Way 89 Entertainment. Collaborators on the project include Ontario-based afrobeats star Nonso Amadi; Canadian artists and songwriting team Coleman Hell and La+ch; and Grammy Award-winning producers Daramola and Tejiri (best known for producing Tems’ “Higher”); These creative partnerships have allowed Chrissy to refine her artistry, producing music that resonates deeply with a diverse audience.
Born and raised in Canada’s capital city, Ottawa, Chrissy grew up in a family of mixed Lebanese and Armenian heritage. She first decided to try her hand at singing in the school choir as a kid, where a successful performance of “Oh Happy Day” from Sister Act 2 gave her the confidence she needed to explore her talent. “I was very shy but I had an amazing teacher who supported and encouraged me,” she says. “She really believed in me and put me as the lead singer.
