Christa Marena

Christa Marena started her singing journey at the age of 16 under her first mentor, Barbara Bickford. While still shy to perform in front of a crowed, she pushed herself to perform at her school Literature Festival, event that confirmed her passion for singing. Christa traveled to Hungary for a year and studied Music at Hangszíntér – művészeti szakgimnázium. She continued her training under mentorship of Puerto Rico, from Spain, Guatemala, Cuba and England. Christa is a holder of a BA degree in Liberal Arts with specialization in Entrepreneurship from Michael Polanyi College. Her specialization furnished her the skills to be an organizer of events such ‘Jazz Para Todos’ in association with Club Rotaract Metropoli’ and even performed at those stages for goodwill causes and fundraising donations.
Her passion for singing was noted by company Querido Arte and she was invited to be part of Operas ‘La Boheme’ and ‘Elixir del Amor’. Christa released two singles, 'Hazte la Idea', written in collaboration with Rodolfo Castillo, Latin Grammy winner, and 'You Stole My Mind', and her EP album in scheduled for 2022. She is also the founder of ‘Marena Vocal Academy’. In Sep 2021, Christa was discovered by The World Academy of Arts, Literature and Media – WAALM and was invited to collaborate with Mosi Dorbayani, the famous Canadian Award-winning songwriter. ‘Rosie Shy’, a Country love song is Christa’s first international collaboration launched from North America and beyond.
