Christian Aaron Perry from Llandovery, is a Welsh country/folk singer-songwriter. Known for his guitar talents, he is now branching out with a newfound style.
I was born and raised into a community that supports and lifts you up every day. Our extended family has, and always will be in Llandovery, Wales. It pulls on the heart strings and is a great example of what binds the communities of the nation together. Our beautiful mountains, tourist hotspots and legacy, captivate the hearts of all who visits them, inspiring and enticing them to return regularly.
During these difficult times of covid, we cannot experience the values of our land. ‘God’s Country’ is about the passion we hold dear within our hearts, and what we feel knowing we are a part of this great nation. A feeling that is legendary.
God's Country was written by Elizabeth and I. We used to live happily in Walton on the Naze in Essex. Finding ourselves in this new and wonderful place, which envisaged the values of our hometown, we felt we were in a Gavin and Stacey
montage, which didn’t last long. The big news of our first born being on the way pushed us back to family and friends we’d left behind. I only wish I could have listened to this song as I was driving back over the Prince Of Wales Bridge for the last time as we moved back to Llandovery.
