Coming onto the scene with a purpose for progression in the industry, Rochester New York’s Christian Enjel merged the melodramatic tones of 90s Rock with hip-hop, putting his twist on what we know today as hip-hop. Drawing inspiration from, J. Cole, Drake, and Post Malone, the melting pot of different styles was an unexpected success for the rapper/singer.
Born Christian Enjel Burnette, he issued the 2017 remix mixtape ‘I’ before releasing a test single “Earned It” at the end of the year.
The track led to him from Atlanta, to New York, to Los Angeles in order to establish his industry connections for his LLC. Signing a publishing deal under HOLM Music/Bluprint Music in July 2018, rocketed Christian into the music industry, helping him build his production, engineering, and songwriting mindsets all while building content.
In July 2019, Enjel finished his deal with HOLM/Bluprint Music and issued a follow up single “Bussdown”,as well as the 2 track EP “2 For 2” making a statement of growth showing his production progression.
