For Christian Navarra, music is a means of giving form to your inner feelings. It’s about self-expression and giving something beautiful and positive to the world. It’s truly about finding life’s silver living. The 24-year-old singer-songwriter and Indiana native originally came onto the scene specializing in acoustic covers with chill, lofi undertones. His cover of “Get You the Moon ” (originally by Kina and Snøw) has been used in over 30,000 videos on TikTok and has over 1M streams. His cover of “Love is Gone” by Dylan Matthew has also surpassed 1M streams. He is currently working to leave his mark in a niche in pop music that examines the hardships of love, anxiety, depression, doubt and insecurity.
He is hoping that with small waves of momentum from reaching larger audiences with his covers, he can find an opportunity to tour and connect with many more people around the country and world, while releasing more of his original work.
Christian’s prime goal in his music is to give people a safe space to be vulnerable and connect with the reality and hardships life presents us with, and for him it’s about being understood by the fans that have continued to follow him on his journey. “I just want to do my part to help young people understand that it’s okay to not have life figured out. Love hurts, friends change, and it’s okay to be lost,” He says, “Through every downfall there is a light to rise up and follow.”
