If you ask Christian to define his genre of music, he’ll probably reply with “all of the above.” Christian Noël has never known how to stay in one place, and it shows in his lyricism and production. The artist mixes elements of EDM, hip-hop, pop, R&B, and whatever else he can get his hands on into his songs. “Growing up, my family never stayed in one place for more than two years. I was born in Virginia, but I’ve lived all across the United States. Not to mention, I’m mixed with five different ethnicities. So I really don’t know how to see in just one color.”
After finishing school in New England, Christian made the move to Atlanta. “I knew I had to be in a music city. There was no family in LA or New York, but I did have family in the South, so Atlanta was the spot for me.” He also made his move into the world of modeling. He’s done photo shoots for major brands, such as Adidas and AMC’s The Walking Dead.
Christian wants to make music that will give people a distraction from the hardships they’re experiencing. “The best compliment I ever got was a girl said my music made her feel like she was in a movie. That’s what I want. I want people to put on my song, close their eyes, and feel like they’re the star of their own film. And get a break from all the crap that happens in our lives. Music got me through some of my toughest moments, so I know the power a song can have.”
