Christina Sandsengen is a GRAMMY®-nominated classical guitarist and composer, known for her expressive artistry and deep connection to the instrument. She has performed worldwide, giving concerts and masterclasses across the globe, and her music has been featured on BBC, CNN and more.
Her debut album, Shades & Contrasts, received high praise from critics, including The Independent and Gramophone Magazine, which lauded her "masterly sense of tonal and rhythmic hierarchy." Following this, she recorded her arrangement of Debussy’s Clair de Lune at EastWest Studios in Los Angeles.
Her 2023 album Solace (Naxos) marked her debut as a composer and was met with critical acclaim. In August 2024, she released Dråper, performing as a soloist with the Norwegian Radio Orchestra.
Her latest album, Tombeaux was recorded in Emanuel Vigeland's mausoleum, and is a deeply personal tribute to her late loved ones. The album received a GRAMMY® nomination.
